About Moaaz
Transforming healthcare at national scale requires more than good ideas exported from another country. It requires people who understand the local context, the regulatory landscape, and the culture. Moaaz Khanani leads Strasys Arabia, the firm's Middle East operation, bringing that essential local knowledge to one of the world's most ambitious healthcare transformation programmes.
Moaaz has extensive experience in financial management and organisational leadership across multiple sectors, including aviation and healthcare. Based in Saudi Arabia, he combines deep regional networks across the public and private sector with a practical understanding of how large-scale transformation programmes operate on the ground.
He ensures that Strasys's Decision Intelligence approach translates into real impact within the specific context of Middle Eastern health systems.
At Strasys, Moaaz leads the firm's work supporting Saudi Arabia's national healthcare transformation as part of Vision 2030. This includes helping to develop Accountable Care Organisations responsible for managing the health and social care of populations within their designated clusters. A crucial element of this work is Strasys's commitment to developing local talent and capability, ensuring that the thinking and the tools stay within the system long after the advisory engagement concludes.
Moaaz also supports Strasys's wider international expansion, helping the firm build partnerships and client relationships across the Gulf region and beyond.
