The role

We are looking for talented individuals to join us as Associate Advisors, supporting the growth of Strasys and delivering exceptional value to our partners. This is a role with some flexibility in both work hours and location, ideal for people with shared caring responsibilities or otherwise looking for good balance.

As an Associate Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Providing decision intelligence and organisational intelligence expertise, consisting of advisory, analytics and system dynamics specialisms.
  • Data management, analytics and system dynamics modelling. This will include use of Machine Learning and other Artificial Intelligence technologies and techniques.
  • Basic project management, production of deliverables and professional services in support of client delivery.
  • Supporting business development – helping to sell new work and grow Strasys.
  • Collaboration with the wider Strasys team and contribution to the development of the intellectual property, business strategy and broader growth of Strasys.

What we are looking for

We are looking for individuals with insatiable and contagious curiosity, continuously looking to learn, improve and make a meaningful contribution to society. We look for:

  • A real interest in data, analytics, machine learning and decision-making.
  • 2+ years of experience in professional services.
  • Great people skills – ability to deal in a professional and friendly manner with a diverse team, both internally and across our partner organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication, management of expectations, recommendations, quality of outputs, and working accurately to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and to manage autonomous work with low-levels of supervision when required.
  • Ability to empathise with, engage and inspire others, even in challenging settings.
  • Quick to learn, ability to prioritise activities and be responsive to the needs of the business.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Self-awareness, tenacity and stamina to relentlessly focus on driving improvements.
  • A degree, Masters or PhD from a leading university in Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Computer Science incorporating Data Science or Analytics based modules.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with high quality written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in commercials, contract and financial (P&L) management is preferable.
  • Experience in Business Development of professional services and relationship-based sales is preferable.
  • Very strong skills in Microsoft Office tooling such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Miro, Monday.com, Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI skills are desirable.
  • Existing skills in System Thinking and System Dynamics are preferred, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
  • Existing work experience in / with UK healthcare organisations is preferred, but not essential.

  • Flexibility in location and schedule. This is a full-time role, but we can agree some flex in when the work is done and will consider requests for part-time over a minimum of 3 days per week. See Work Location section below for flexibility on location.

Work location

We encourage hybrid working. However, you must be comfortable in spending time away from home at client sites and potentially abroad. Strasys is headquartered in London; many existing clients are in the Northwest of England.
